  • NOLA 4 | trunk and brunch recap

It was truly such an honor and loads of fun co-hosting the Tallulah's Designs by Heather Williams SS'13 Trunk & Brunch last weekend. The elegant vintage decor was created by Julia of Mrs. Vintage Rentals in the already beautifully curated Hattie Sparks boutique. One of our favorite local eateries, Satsuma (7901 Maple Street), graciously provided yummy brunch bites and the ever ambitious Hattie put together delicious Hard Ginger and Apple cider cocktails, served appropriately in mason jars!  Not only was the setting beautiful, it was awe inspiring to be surrounded by such creative, kind, and talented women in addition to catching up with supportive friends who stopped by. What more could one ask for on a Sunday than good company, shopping, cocktails, and then to watch (or listen from my ride home) the Saints bring home a win for New Orleans?! That's what life's about -- and made for one of the happiest memories throughout this blogging journey. Huge thank you's to Hattie, Heather, Genevieve, and Julia for including me in such a fun day and to everyone who stopped by and made the event successful. With Hattie, Heather, and Julia!
